However, Cameron has hinted that sequels to Avatar might explore additional moons in the star system where the Pandora moon is located. It is a time honored tradition for Cameron to place his own unique signature on subsequent sequel films.

But when? Apparently Cameron isn’t in a rush to do it because Avatar 2009 is still making a lot of money..   It is more than clear that Fox plans to keep Avatar running in theaters as long as possible, Murdoch says that once it’s out of theaters, the DVD version will show up “soon after.”  Until 2011 or 2012, when Avatar 2 will be released,  you’ll have Avatar on DVD to watch over and over and over again until your friends forget about you, and your father kick you out his basement. I am afraid we won’t see 3D DVD in the next few months, the technology for it just isn’t quite there yet. Besides, why release Avatar 3D DVD right off the bat when you can force people to buy the movie twice with two separate releases? Fox love your money.. As soon as the Avatar 2 trailer will be released you will watch it here.
